About

Hi, I’m Emily, and I’m so glad you’re here.

Moms-Recipe.com began as a deeply personal project — one rooted in family, food, and the memories that live around the dinner table. I grew up in a small town in the Midwest, where my mom, Carol, was the heart of our home. She wasn’t a trained chef, but to me, she was the best cook in the world.

She could make magic out of whatever was in the fridge. Her biscuits were flaky, her soups slow-simmered and rich with flavor, and her Sunday roast could turn any tough week around. But most of all, it was the love she poured into every meal that made them unforgettable.

After she passed away, I realized how much of her cooking lived in memories and hand-written index cards tucked into cookbooks. I started collecting those recipes — recreating them, tweaking them, and writing them down, so that I could pass them on to my own kids. And in doing so, I found that I wasn’t just preserving food — I was preserving her spirit, our traditions, and a piece of home.

That’s how Moms-Recipe.com was born — out of love, grief, gratitude, and the desire to keep something beautiful alive.

This site is my way of sharing those recipes, and so many more I’ve gathered over the years — from other moms, grandmas, friends, neighbors, and my own kitchen experiments. You’ll find everything from quick weeknight dinners to slow-cooked classics, cozy casseroles, sweet treats, and holiday favorites. Some recipes are old-fashioned, others are modern twists, but they all have one thing in common: they’re made with care.

I don’t believe in perfect food photography or complicated ingredient lists. I believe in butter-smeared aprons, second helpings, and meals that make you feel safe and full and loved.

So whether you’re a new cook just getting started, a busy parent feeding your family, or someone looking for a taste of home, I hope you’ll find something here that makes you smile — and maybe even something worth passing down.

Thank you for being here.
And if you’re not sure where to begin, I suggest starting with my mom’s meatloaf. It’s the one that started it all.
